8 amphibious assault ships (075???) ( current four type 071 in service, 2 fitting and rumoured one type 075 started building)
18 type 055 destoyers (current one fitting, 3 or 4 building)
60 plus other types of destroyers (current in service 30, 3 sea trial, 4 fitting, 3 or more started building)
60 plus various type of frigates (current 50 plus in service, more to be built)

The amphibious ships likely refer to 075 LHD only, and the author is referring to around 60 054A/B frigate, not including 056 or 056A. To be honest I find the predictions hard to believe. PLAN ship building will need some real strong steroids to build four 052 and two 055 every year for 10 years.

Isn't he the same guy who claimed that a carrier-based J-20 had made its maiden flight? Let's not lend too much credibility to these folks until some of their claims are actually proven.
Take this list with a heavy pile of salt. I think only 18 type 055s was a bit of a dead tell, since I seem to recall (someone correct me if I’m wrong) fgzfyz once implying the *initial* order for the 055 was 16 hulls, as well as to expect a 055A afterwards. That said, I don’t think a build pace of four 052s and two 055 every year for 10 years is that implausible. After all, right now it looks like Dalian and Shanghai combined are starting to hit a clip of about 3-4 new 052Ds and 3-4 new 055s a year, if I’ve been following the build schedule right. We’ll see if that pace continues, slacks, or intensifies, but 6-8 new destroyers a year for a decade may not be out of the question, *especially* if the intent is to have a navy that can achieve parity with the USN by 2035 (though I’m not saying that’s necessarily the case).

Still waiting on the commissioning rate to match the launch rate. I'll lend these notions of 4+ destroyers per year credence when China actually manages to commission more than two per year for consecutive years. Even India is pretty good at pumping out hulls, it doesn't mean much if there's a chokepoint further down the line.

There are basically three possibilites:
1. Continue as is, with an increasing number of ships built but not commissioned.
2. Slow down (or take a break in) ship production.
3. Increase the commissioning rate.
2. doesn't seem likely and 1. is close to a failure in planning or execution, so 3. should happen. Remains to be seen. The English Wikipedia has 5 Type 052D commissionings in 2018 and 2 in 2019, while the Chinese one has 3 in 2018, 3 in 2019 and 1 in 2020 (for the ones already launched).
Also, I don't think the Indian situation is really comparable.

Anything from Huahua should stay at PDF, which is the perfect dumping ground for accepting all manners of sordid heresy without proper scrutiny or filter.

I'm sure China doesn't plan to create an increasing backlog of ships that are launched but not commissioned, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. There could be any number of bottlenecks, from subsystems to personnel.
If China is indeed moving to a commissioning rate of 3-4 destroyers per year, we will find out soon enough. I prefer not to count chickens before they have hatched, that's all.
