When it comes to the PLA, judging personal by their equipment to determine who they are isn't accurate. Do note that there are SOF and Recon units out there still using conventional infantry equipment.

Isn't there supposed to be a special operations brigade in the 74th group army's organization, how do you know they didn't send them?

The People's Liberation Army dispatched a special operations brigade under the 74th Army Group, but did not carry the latest light weapons
