Lieutenant General
I mean, I try to follow one of Sun Tzu’s maxims which is know yourself, know your enemy.... So I try to listen, read, watch Indian perspectives about China and anything that pertains to their point of views on their Dragon neighbor. And it's not a stretch to overstate this fact that I have thus far only managed to found 2 Indian fellows that are objective with regard to China. The first one is a Singaporean of Indian descent, Professor Kishore Mahbubani, the 2nd one is Capt. Pravin Sawheny (ret.) of India.

One would think that India would and should try to analyze it's supposed regional rival in an objective manner in order for her to come up with a strategy that's not only coherent but also one that fully appreciate her rivals true capabilities. Instead, a lot of these so-called "strategists" are seeing China as a caricature, either an overestimation of China's strategic intent or a deliberate attempt to dismiss China's achievements by minimizing the accomplishments and exaggerating her flaws. Which is why India can never hope to beat China in any meaningful sense. Denial of reality isn't a strategy. Accepting your opponents current strength isn't a defeatist attitude but rather a pragmatic way of looking at the situation to come up with the right strategic approach in order to create the right battle space that's advantagous for India.
If Sun Tzu had met a Jai Hind, he would have put in a general rule that one should not waste one’s time trying to understand how idiots think. Merely recognising them as idiots would be sufficient to determine how best to deal with them.

I am talking about the digital camo, as far as I know, China's potential adversaries do not use digital camo on vehicles.
This could've been just a normal shooting training where enemy identifications weren't part of it. As for its camo, they probably just wanted a generic camo vehicle to shoot at. I wouldn't put too much thought into this.

At that distance you do not see camo , it more a silhouette against the ground, the shape has more to do with how the tanker going to see the target then the camo.

I can also point you to read why a lot of tanks usually doesn't even have a camo , just green-ish paint.
Cause when they studied the effectiveness of camo for helping the tank to hide during WW2 , the conclusion that it had minimal effect , it is mainly effective against air reconnaissance.
So you will see that no Allied nation use one cause they dominated the air after 1943, but the German army did use camo.
Fast forward 80 years later ,they kept the tradition. The Germans still paint camos on their tanks , but US UK Russia doesn't.
These day , with night vision , and thermal sights , camo is even less relevant for hiding a tank , so it just an ascetics thing.
China , Japan , Korean has camo for tank , I think it does look better with some camo , but it has no real affect for concealment against modern electronics.

Maybe I am nitpicking, but they put the effort to paint camo on the target. It would have been cheaper to not do it, and probably more effective at representing blue forces. Even if there is only a 0.01% chance this may cause the gunner to subconsciously associate digi camo to enemies, it should not be done. We are talking about lives at risk, I think it is an easy 'error' to fix, that would also save money from the paint. You can also say camo is useless at long ranges, but why risk the possibility it is not.

Truck-mounted smoke grenade launcher. The last image is an old one, but it shows off what this platform is capable of.
