When I see any picture of QBU-10 firing, I instinctively flinch, the result of seeing videos of shooters (sort of) getting punched in the eye socket by the scope.

Something like... this.

Good ‘ld scope-eye/bite.

Shouldn’t be a problem with half decent scope mounting and shooting stance.

All that head shaking is from the recoil into the shoulder. If anyone got scope eyed by a 50, you will immediately know it from their reaction, as that blow will easily shatter your orbital.

Does PLA have Russian Kamaz/Ural trucks in service, it says on the PLA ground force equipment Wikipedia page?
Not sure if this is true.

From what I understand China has good connections with the Belarussian truck industry. Just look at the Chinese HQ-17A wheeled vehicle and compare it with MZKT-6922 from Belarus. Or look at the most modern TELs used in the Chinese DF-41. Compare this with the early DF-31 launchers which were basically civilian heavy truck designs, not high mobility multiple axle all terrain vehicles. Belarus also provides Russia with the MZKT-79221 TEL vehicles used in the Topol-M and Yars missiles. Russia's KAMAZ also has a TEL design for Yars but it seems it had issues during testing and AFAIK never entered service in the Russian Federation. Chinese TELs seem to be based on Belarus truck technology cloned by China.

Any weapons systems imported from Russia proper like the S-400 should use Belarussian or Russian trucks, but the Chinese clones use Chinese made trucks of course. Not imports.

Belarus seems to have provided China with technical assistance in developing some of their heavy trucks much like Ukraine provided assistance with the airframe design of the Y-20 and Russia with the airframe design of the Z-10.

At present the connection between many countries became closer. As far as I know, Holosun seems popular in Russia. Also China shared J-31 test data to Russia. I think there may be more communication between them than what we have seen.

Do you have links for the J31 claim? I have never heard of the Chinese sharing test data with the Russians.

From what I have heard thus far there has been loads of friction in getting Chinese technology into Russian military products.
For example there were some diesel engine sales to Russia for the Buyan-M corvettes but the Russians apparently were not happy with engine reliability. When the US enacted sanctions on Japanese carbon fiber for the MC-21's wing the Russians tried Chinese carbon fiber but were not satisfied with the quality of the product for their application and ended up making their own production facilities.

I would not be surprised if the cases where a Chinese product was in fact integrated ended up not being talked about at all however. That is just typical of Russian military industry rumors. You typically never hear anything when a project is working properly.

In what time period were these "frictions" occurring? 2000s, 2010s, a few years ago? I find the diesel engine thing hard to believe since Chinese marine diesels serve just fine on PLAN warships.
