PLA female soldiers

People should not mention how many they've killed in battle because that is a dishonorable thing to do - it's better such things are kept silent, though it's their choice whether to reveal them. Besides, the girl is probably bluffing about the number of kills. I have no doubt women can fire a gun as good as men, but I do doubt a girl being sent off to battle and kill 40 insurgents.

With this statement I will agree. No US media service would publish such a story. In my own opinion>>>> There job,in many cases, is to bring dishonor, contention towards the US military.

Friend Popeye You have all the right to doubdt about my word you dont know who I am... But I find something that may find interesting... That female soldier in my company than get almost 40 KIA is nothing in comparation with a certain female russian sniper. Please I ask you to chek out this article about snipers and read how many KIA get. chek out:
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!
And please perhaps you read this your self and tell us how many KIA she get... That female soldier in my company is nothing to be compare with Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko.

I wasan't trying to says something than can do damage to USA... I don't say her name... not even her rank, besides you can ask some veterans... we are not contract killers or something if we kill somebody it's because we don't find a better solution... We try not to but if our lives are treated we don't hesitate to shoot... even If you are a lawndryman

Why? because she is a women... I ussually believe whats people say (off course I have some exeptions) GENERALLY... DONT TAKE ME WRONG... I SAYGENERALLY. People don't lie unless they have a reason for it... I wasan't present when she get all the kills she say but I see her with my own eyes taiking down few hostiles, we don't feel proud about that and we don't cut their heads and hang them in the wall like trophies... And if we kill somebody it's because it's necesary... My intention was to answer this tread with my personal experience, and now something more backed up... the story of Lyudmila Mikhailovna Pavlichenko... My point was beauty doesen't mean weakness... If you look to the picture of Lyudmila you gonna note she wasan't ugly or something like it but she was damn deadly. If I offend somebody for what I say please forgive me. Women in the military are suronded by prejuice cause they are a minority and we dont espect see our moms and wives in the battlefield killing people but those women in the military off course including the PLA are true patriots, they prove their loyalty to their countries by doing the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

OK, 3 pix of female PLAN marines. They have exactly the same training as their male comrades

The last pic shows a female marine soldier in marine's liberary. The lower sign reads "love novels", the upper one indicates a writers collection. It's a common knowledge in China but I guess most of you here do not know that the writer is from Taiwan who is very famous in writing love novels. I believe at least 100 million Chinese females read her novels.

I thought there is no female in any of the first line combat units in PLA? At least not in the army. Only ones are tele-communicator, radar/sensor operator, military artist, and some special force snipers.

Right. But there is at least a female ARMOUR REGIMENT commander. A TV serie about her will be on CCTV.

You can see above, there's a female battalion in marine.

Many transport plane pilots, including chopper's.

15th airbone army has a female special operation force platoon or company.

The US Army has similar rules that prohibit deployment of female soldiers into combat units that "collocate" with enemy ground combatants.

However the nature of warfare has changed beyond the traditional trench lines. Today in Iraq there is no traditional "front line" (not seen since 1991) but plenty of asymmetrical threats, that has so far caused the deaths of at least 2 dozen female soldiers from the US army.

Assuming that the PLA is watching and learning from the US experience, they must prepare their soldiers for the future battlefield in high-density urban environment where the enemy could come from any direction. It'd be foolish to assume a female recruit placed in the "rear" is any safer.

Though a little bit off topic, but I'd like to suggest you, especially girls, do not read Qiong Yao's novels, coz there are full of tears and not realistic. In the real world, the kind of love she wrote never happen. Li Ao (another male Taiwan writer) said "you (young people) are fooled by Qiong Yao's novels, her kind of love is fake". To me, Qiong Yao's novels and televisions movie can only be described as "exaggeration".

Aw come on, if you avoid anything that is exaggerated, then your reading selection really shrinks. It's not like love in real life is even remotely simiilar to that in Hollywood, or war as simple as in Tom Clancy novels.

For me, the biggest error in Tom Clancy novels is that the US always wins

Anyway, perhaps the female Marine reading a Taiwanese romance novel is a case of "know your enemy." :coffee:
