Its a nice piece of equipment I guess. But really when are they going to show us any modern HMS that is in service with the PLAAF. We know that they are working hard on the technology.
can they test the off-boresight missile (PL10 etc) without a working helmet mounted targeting system?

According to Xinlang, a twin engine airplane belongs to PLAAF crashed at Suiyang, guizhou today. Someone says it's a Y-8

Y-8 is four engine plane, not twin.
The crashed plane is clearly twin engine. I'd guess it is a Y-7 variant.
The initial footage is not from the same incident. Someone just tagged it on there as a hoax.
