The US has released a video of an RC-135 getting shaken a bit by a J-16
Nice footage, if they got emotional damage from that maneuver it will be mental asylum level in a Taiwan war scenario.

They should have more self confidence in their own FBW system.
That said, I'm not a pilot. I'd love to have a pilot's input on whether this was dangerous or not.
As long as the plane passing in front of you is smaller/lighter, its wake turbulence won't do much other than shake you a bit. Doing the same on a Y-20 would probably cause the RC-135 to lose control and crash
LMAO I’ve experienced worse turbulence flying on Frontier Airline plane.

This is why China's ministry of defense should start releasing the flight paths of US military planes near it's coastline. It will also be possible to cross-reference the flight paths of PLAAF warplanes to see how many are for intercepting USAF warplanes

"An unnecessary aggressive maneuver" is a rather fascinating comment, because it begs the issue of what the US Air Force is doing there, so far from their own land borders.
Who's the Aggressor??
