The models look quite similar to what was reported late last year at the CAC, especially the wings and tail.

The 5GAT is a dedicated 5th gen target drone developed by the US 12m long to simulate higher end 5th gen targets.
Depending on how serious the PLA takes it, they may want even a larger aircraft to put VLO, kinematics and EW all in a single target drone representative.
Otherwise, it could be a badly made balloon decoy, poor quality imagery or (most unlikely) an actual UCAV.
I don't see how they seem similar.
The planform (length and wingspan proportions) is entirely different, and the aircraft seen last year was also both tailless and canard -less
Consensus is that it is just a J-10 distorted by satellite imagery. The size matches that of a J-10 as well when compared with the J-7s near by.

A big opportunity here for China to achieve conventional overmatch itself if it is prepared to spend a lot more on its military.
Feels to me that the photo is the problem , it looks like J20 but the image had some problem when it was composed , or maybe it just weird things happening with the shadows
