The images below show a list of AVIC trademark applications. There are several intriguing names for unknown projects: 天龙, 腾龙, 蓝鲨, 火神, 天神, 鳌鹏, 鹗鹏, 云鹏, 金鹗, 雀鹰, 岩鹰, 新鹰, 磐鹰, 祥云.

Given the existing naming convention by AVIC, such as using Dragon (龙) for fighters and UAVs, God (神) for bombers, Peng (鹏) for transports, Hawks/Falcons (鹰) for trainers, we can speculate the possible natures of these projects. Again, just speculation.

Fighter/UAV: Sky Dragon (天龙), Rising/Prancing Dragon (腾龙)
Carrier Fighter: Blue Shark (蓝鲨)
Bombers: God of Fire (火神), God of Sky (天神)
Transport aircraft: Ao Peng (鳌鹏), E Peng/Osprey (鹗鹏), Yun Peng (云鹏)
Trainer: Sparrow Hawk (雀鹰), Cliff Eagle (岩鹰), New Eagle (新鹰), Boulder Eagle (磐鹰)
Uncategorized : Golden Osprey (金鹗),

Honestly, I don't see any point in this by naming, which should be done by the aircraft design institute. It's like having a child that you've had a hard time raising until he graduates from college only to have a stranger jump in and change your child's name. According to LAOSHI, "As far as I know, the chief engineers got angry for the naming."

By these rules, the new carrier-based fighter (J-35?) will be a "shark" (鲨). H-20 will be a "god" (神). KJ600 will be simply "千里眼-600".
The naming rules are still a little confused.I think the naming method of weapon category + serial number is already very representative.

As for the J-35, it is unclear whether the project belongs to the air force or the Navy.
"Flying shark(J-15)" and "Flying Leopard(JH-7)" are fighters named earlier.What they have in common is that the navy is their main customer.
So if the future J-35 is first equipped by the Navy, it should be named "flying+animal"
Note that this is just my personal guess.

Dragon(龙) series - land-based fighter
God(神) series - bomber
Roc (鹏)series - military transport aircraft
Clairvoyant(千里眼) series - early warning / detection aircraft
Sea Eagle(海雕) series - anti submarine patrol aircraft
Thunder(雷电) series - electronic warfare aircraft
Eagle(鹰) series - Trainer
Divine Eagle(神雕) series - tactical general purpose helicopter
Fierce Thunderbolt( 霹雳火)- series - armed helicopter
Lucky Bird(吉祥鸟) series - Civil Helicopter
Pterosaur(翼龙) series - high-altitude UAV
Cloud Shadow(云影) series -high-altitude high-speed UAV
Rotary Dagger-axe(旋戈) series - rotor UAV
Propitious Cloud(祥云) series - airships and balloons
Other series - civil aircraft

A new domestic software named Sabre was introduced at the 7th Aviation High Technology Conference. According to the Weibo poster, Sabre will solve a major bottleneck by replacing an imported equivalent. Does anyone know what Sabre does? Simulation or CAD or something else?

SABRE stands for "Structural Analysis BREezing". The developer is the Aircraft Strength Research Institute of China. They started the development in 2018.

1975年,航空工业强度所牵头开始研发自主结构分析软件系统,多年来紧密围绕行业需求,形成了HAJIF、YIDOYU、VEP和COMPASS等一系列自主CAE软件,解决了多个型号研制的难题,先后六次获得国家级奖励。
2018年起,面向大型复杂装备的研制需求,强度所整合行业资源,历时四年研发推出全新的SABRE(Structural Analysis BREezing)系统。采用新一代TE8 CAE软件架构,支持亿级自由度矩阵求解,适应高性能、云计算等异构计算环境。围绕装备结构完整性设计要求,为装备研制关键环节提供专业的解决方案,实现了工具链的完整覆盖,形成了“通用、专用、数据库”三层CAE软件体系。
