I don't see how people could see levity in this. This is unprofessional, dangerous, unnecessarily escalatory, and just goes to show that the CCP doesn't really care about international norms or the safety of its pilots in its pursuit of regional hegemony.
Just because the Canadian said so and it's the truth? Lol give me a freaking break. As for the "international norms" what exactly are those? The fact that a 3rd rate military like Canada can somehow exercise some sort of military intelligence gathering and spying beyond her borders is the accepted norms?

Frankly speaking f..k your norms and China's attitude has nothing to do with the mythical nonsense people like you keep repeating ad nauseum about regional hegemony when the very area the incident has been alleged to happen is within China's vicinity.

China needs to work harder in winning the information war. They do absolutely nothing about it. It needs to release more information about how often US military and Japanese military enter their ADIZ. They also need to document more how often other Air Force are flying dangerously close to theirs.

Unless they do that, they will get all the blame. If you do not want to get blamed as the overly aggressive Air Force, then you need to get your PR department to post your point of view more often.

In this case, I can see why Canadians are upset. They don't normally get involved in Asia. They probably think they are just here to spy on North Koreans. China needs to actually come out and issue updates on how often USAF and its allies are encroaching their ADIZ.
This I agree very much. I mean why couldn't the PLAAF or any relevant Chinese authorities speak on this fact helping to shape and establish the narrative first from the Chinese perspective. With all the available technologies at it's disposal it could have also released corroborating footage as evidence to support it's claims of X,Y,Z countries and forces doing the actual violating. Instead of constantly being put in a defensive and reacting to the accusations and narratives western countries have readily made to be used and disseminated world wide which can only sharpen the already negative perception of China.

Given how US-led western media is treating Russia and all Russian media sources, it would be more valuable and effective for Chinese info sources to present to non-western media as they would be the more objective body, and that's of greater importance for the long run.

Not Hunan, it occurred in Laohekou, Hubei. The plane may be J-7 or JJ-7. That area is just on the take-off route, and only about 1.3km away from the end of the runway. There is a rumor that the engine was shut down after the plane hit bird.

The images below show a list of AVIC trademark applications. There are several intriguing names for unknown projects: 天龙, 腾龙, 蓝鲨, 火神, 天神, 鳌鹏, 鹗鹏, 云鹏, 金鹗, 雀鹰, 岩鹰, 新鹰, 磐鹰, 祥云.

Given the existing naming convention by AVIC, such as using Dragon (龙) for fighters and UAVs, God (神) for bombers, Peng (鹏) for transports, Hawks/Falcons (鹰) for trainers, we can speculate the possible natures of these projects. Again, just speculation.

Fighter/UAV: Sky Dragon (天龙), Rising/Prancing Dragon (腾龙)
Carrier Fighter: Blue Shark (蓝鲨)
Bombers: God of Fire (火神), God of Sky (天神)
Transport aircraft: Ao Peng (鳌鹏), E Peng/Osprey (鹗鹏), Yun Peng (云鹏)
Trainer: Sparrow Hawk (雀鹰), Cliff Eagle (岩鹰), New Eagle (新鹰), Boulder Eagle (磐鹰)
Uncategorized : Golden Osprey (金鹗),

AVIC disclosed the rules for naming their products, including 18 series of military and civil aircraft.

By these rules, the new carrier-based fighter (J-35?) will be a "shark" (鲨). H-20 will be a "god" (神). KJ600 will be simply "千里眼-600".
