I think it is more accurate to say that Chinese designers are mindful of the importance of ECM and ECCM and often claim their systems work well under ECM. How true the claims are I have not seen much evidence for or against. The only info I recall reading is anecdotal, about the ECM vs ECCM race with the Taiwan operated U-2's ECM package and mainland S-75 sites.

why do PLAAF selected cargo aircraft,rather than passenger aircraft as AWACS platform,was KJ-2000 cabin pressurized? do LRU like A-50U suffer from weight penalty?I not notice any ALR-1 ESM .

They have nothing else. Unless the PLA buys Il-96's, and at their own costs, modify them so that they are AWACS platforms, they are stuck.

Not to mention how the last time US forces faced competently led air-defences the Soviet-supplied Vietnamese inflicted severe losses in the process.

you are confusing air defense system belong to complete different era.
advance in sensor,electronic stealth change the entire ball game.true a US suffer (not so severe lost)in vietnam.but lost in iraq (1991 and 2002)and balkan theater is zero.

You are forgetting that there are also advances being made in air-defense technology, such as ECCM and ESA tracking radars. The Iraqis and the Balkans head outdated technology on par with what the Vietnamese had, 20-30 years prior.

You are kidding right? I think US lost somewhere around 30 AC in the first gulf war, quit a few from SAMs. And this is not counting damaged ACs.
