Ah yes. Good point. Forget 360' coverage. It should still work in the rear hemisphere but not sure how useful that will be. The forward array will have to be in-front of the propellers
They could go with the same solution that WWI bi-plane used in shooting their machingun mounted in front of the pilot without hitting the propeller but don't know how good it will work with radar waves.

I would suspect the same technology used to solve mutual coupling can be used for transmission but obviously adding a lot more complexity to the process. However this would not address the problem when receiving. I don't believe when the V-22 is in helicopter mode it would present a problem with the blades.

Strange, that would be a version of the Diamond DA42 and Diamond is an Austrian company. That type is already in service in several Air Forces....

I know they have a production line in CHina, but that this could sell this aircraft alone would be new to me ...

Perhaps Diamond is looking to jointly export these with a Chinese subcontractor (which might provide ELINT equipment) and split the revenues accordingly.

I read something similar, however these images are clearly old - I saved them already in June 2008 !!! - and are more likely a regular MA.60.

Anyway China's SOA (State Oceanic Administration) has accepted a MA-60H ...
