Comparing these two photos, oxygen/air supply tubes are plugged into the workstation panel of KJ-2000. There is no such configurations in KJ-200. However, losing pressure is always a consideration for a combat aircraft. So does it means the KJ-200 photo was taken in a simulator?

I'm pretty sure it is real. Is it normal for each console in an AEWC or other aircraft to have a dedicated back up oxygen supply?

A quick search of other platforms like E-3, 737 wedgetail, do not show obvious back up oxygen tubes either. Frankly I'm not even sure the tubes in the KJ-2000s consoles are for oxygen.

A nice shot of the KJ-200's cabin, via huitong

I wonder what it looks like down the other end.

The still is captured from this clip.

Two more shots of internal KJ-200 can be found. However, no mouse/track ball/light pen can be seen.

I think Huitong may have it wrong. It's very possible that this is the interior of the Y-8J. The video clip from which this image was captured showed multiple surveillance aircraft type, including KJ-200 and Y-8 variants.

Here's are some interior shots of the Y-8j from years ago, and notice it's got the same console:

Here is the interior shot of the ZDK-03 the Chinese built for Pakistan, and I'd expect KJ-200's consoles to resemble these (with track balls):

@by78; maybe.

However ZDK-03 was developed later than KJ-200 so may have the benefit of leveraging newer consoles.

Also, the Y-8J pictures show the consoles arranged in a different manner to what huitong claims to be KJ-200, and I do not think a single cabin can have consoles arranged in both ways

But I'm not too sure either way.

Y-8J is based on the early model of Y-8 (that was even before High New 1!) and has a very small pressurized cabin. Therefore it only houses 4 display consoles facing forward. Whereas Y-8W/KJ-200 is based on the latest Y-8 Category III Platform (pretty much in the same class as Y-9), therefore it has a much larger pressurized cabin and houses at least 8 display consoles facing sideways.
