I am convinced this story is like a Hydra. You cut off one head and two more pop-up.

Do you people even read the article before you post them?

Amidst the complexities of the F-35 acquisition deal, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is reportedly considering the Chinese J-20 stealth fighters as a potential alternative, as

by the diary The National Interest.

So not even a primary source. So let's go to the linked National Interest story then:

This week, a top Emirati military official visited a counterpart in China, Janes reported. Maj. Gen. Saleh Mohammed bin Majren Al Ameri, commander of Joint Operations for the UAE, met with Lt. Gen. Chang Dingqiu, commander of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force, at the headquarters of the Chinese Ministry of Defense in Beijing.
"During the meeting, a number of topics related to the fields of joint military cooperation and work between the two countries and ways to support and develop them were discussed. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers and officials of the MoDs of the two countries," the UAE Ministry of Defense said.
While we can only speculate on what was discussed, it might not be too early to suspect that Chinese aircraft such as the

could be in the future air fleet of the UAE. With the F-35 off the table, the Gulf state might look to China – and perhaps even Russia – for alternatives.
So, you post such garbage. Not only National Interest as a source is garbage by itself, the story is even more garbage than the usual sewer of an outlet that it is. So, taking all that into account, you smh still thought "cool, this seems like an article worth posting in SDF"

I rest my case

EDGE and Fincantieri sign an official agreement to launch the joint shipbuilding project “Mistral”

The signing of the agreement was immediately followed by the announcement of a large order from the UAE Coast Guard to purchase 10 technologically advanced marine patrol vessels with a length of 51 meters, at a value of 400 million euros.

The 51-metre-long patrol ships of the “P51MR” class, based on the proven “Saettia” class, are modern ships characterized by their high modularity, stability in harsh sea conditions, low radar detection, and high operational flexibility.

In Yemen, the Houthis showed tests of their first maritime drone, Tufan-1. According to the creators, the first production unmanned boat Tufan-1 “is distinguished by increased speed, high maneuverability and stealth.” Judging by the video showing tests on the target ship, the boat can be controlled manually and used remotely. The sea kamikaze drone Tufan-1 can be equipped with 150 kilograms of explosives; now it is equipped with a Japanese Yamaha engine, with this engine it can reach speeds of up to 56 km/h.

Navantia finalizes the definitive agreement with Saudi Arabia to build three additional new corvettes.

1720071729009.jpeg

After two years of negotiation, Spain and Saudi Arabia are finalizing a new contract by which Navantia will build three new corvettes in the province of Cádiz. The shipyard run by the company in San Fernando is preparing to manufacture these three vessels, after the successful work carried out in recent years and which has served to strengthen the collaboration between both states.

This is therefore the second contract between Spain and the Government of Saudi Arabia in matters of Naval Defense. This agreement, once signed, will mean a significant workload for the island shipyard.
