See the thing about this fucker and the one from Taiwan is that they're not real males... and they're also not females. So either you make them fight men and they get tossed around like rag dolls or you let them fight women and they toss those girls around like ragdolls. They really need their own category except there's not enough of them to make that happen and thank goodness because we don't need 3 gender medals of every color for every comp.

Enjoy your time this Olympics, because man, we are heading for an even shittier decade of Olympics after this, with US hosting the 2032 and Australia hosting the 2032. (and imagine if India actually gets the 2036)

Malaysia is a powerhouse in badminton, they have won trophies in so many other competitions, but the Olympic Gold Medals have proven elusive even till today. China remains Malaysia's bogey opponent in the Olympics. Malaysia could defeat China in other competitions, but just not the Olympics. Malaysia had simultaneously crashed out of the semi-finals for both men and women doubles at the hands of China.

These were great matches to watch, and the Chinese teams ultimately won. Both teams were close, but the Chinese teams made less errors. The women's double match was good, but the men's double was just another level of intensity. These are the highlights:

Malaysia vs China Women's double. Malaysia put up a good fight. But started to lose concentration towards the end of Round 3.

Malaysia vs China Men's double. This was fun to watch, it was everything you want to watch in a badminton match. Intensity, guile, and finesse. The Chinese guys just don't seem to run out of energy even on Round 3.

For Malaysia, our last hope for Gold in badminton is Lee Zi Jia competing in the Men's Single.

I’m curious the Indonesian team perform even worse. They are considered a bigger powerhouse in badminton than Malaysia. They did well in recent Uber cup and Thomas cup held in China. Not sure wat happened.
