I wonder if China can use her good relations with the global south countries to vote for Lhasa to host the Olympics. The higher altitude of the region could give Chinese athletes some advantages

Im being optimistic but only men medley and mixed medley have any more chance of getting gold.

I want to say the west has sabotaged China but it's not like they aren't getting medals. Just no golds.

I think one of the issues is swimming is a young person's sport and the ones who have a chance of gold are already over 25. China needs to develop a new set of 18 year olds like Pan to get the golds.

Unfortunately I think USA will be winning most golds again by a much bigger margin this time.

China messed up 4 expected golds from gymnastics and swimming. Meanwhile Simon Biles is allowed to take her Adderall this time so she will get multiple gold medals.

China has to have swimming locked down to stand a chance.

What about the 200m IM (Wang Shun)? I think he has a good chance.

There are a couple of promising youngsters like Dong Zhihao, Zhang Zhanshuo, Wang Xizhe, and Mao Yihan.

Man that's crazy. I did not know she tested positive for doping.

Really proves what I said earlier about US utilising legalised doping to get an advantage just like Michael Phelps
