The North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun in the attached article writes that on the morning of the 28th, North Korea carried out a test launch of a strategic cruise missile launched from a submarine, the Purfasal-3-31.
The missile flew for between 7,421 and 7,445 seconds and hit the target island, with claims that the test launch had no impact on the security of surrounding countries and was carried out without taking into account the local situation.

So now we know that the Pulhwasal-3-31 is a submarine-launched missile, which explains why it is smaller and has a shorter range than the Hwasal-1/2.

The launch angle also implies that it was launched through torpedo tubes - which could open up the possibility of arming every submarine North Korea has with missiles. That said, I don't believe these cruise missiles will be necessary in all cases, but I want them to develop a submarine-launched version for the Kumsong-3 (fake KH-35).

Today from the online news of Chongnyon Chonwi, an article in English about the launch of cruise missiles from submarines (apparently more missiles of that type were launched on this occasion), they also write (yesterday I missed with the translation from Korean):
"That day he learned in detail about the building of a nuclear submarine.."

More interesting is involving those being jet engine powering them that is a TRDD-50 / 36MT turbofan clone.
We could see a small jet powered UAV in near future as response to one made by South Korea.

And when will a supersonic fighter model to compete with the FA-50 and KF-21?

Certainly not in near future and may never by time North could make equivalent.
Unless Russia or China willingly to provide engines or even technology transfer.
Alternatively with Iran design and manufacture engine similar specs to F110.
