Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group (Taihang Steel) successfully delivered the first batch of thousand-ton-level 28mm ultra-thick low-alloy high-strength steel hot-rolled coils in China. The product will be used in the manufacturing of steel pipes for the Xianyang section of the "South-to-North Water Diversion Project," providing crucial material support for this major water conservancy project.
Looks like they got this for the water pipes.
