China Northern Rare Earth Group not only mastered the smelting & separation tech for 6N purity RE alloy, but since 2022, it has spent 400 days to create an automatic production line from RE concentrates to Oxides. Watch the video, it has 60% of global capacity in Rare Earth oxide production.

CETC developed a series of products including the 3601 S-parameter test module, 36102 probe, and 20501 calibration wafer. Combined with a commercial probe station, this marks the first time in China that a high-stability, multi-functional terahertz chip testing solution with a maximum frequency of up to 500GHz has been introduced.

I would assume this type of chips is needed for various ultra high speed wireless communication and various analysis tools.

Surprised no one has posted this but the breakthrough of this is immense. Scientists in China from the Fudan University has created a flexible thread-like fiber chip; every centimeter has about 100k transistors, withstand repeated bending and abrasion for 10,000 cycles, and even being crushed by a 15.6-tonne truck. Applications can be fielded in multiple frontier techs (BCI, VR or AR, communication etc.).

did you see a chart in there of the numbers? They were already pretty close to Germany in 2024.

据科技日报今日报道，中国石油旗下独山子石化公司国产 POE（IT之家注：聚烯烃弹性体）适应性改造项目取得重大进展，2025 年共生产 POE 产品近 6 万吨。

这标志着国内首创 POE 气相聚合工艺实现工业化量产与规模化供应，有效缓解我国光伏、新能源汽车等战略性新兴产业对进口产品的依赖。

CNPC subsidiary 独山子 has succeeded in mass producing POE/polyolefin elastomer in 2025 with almost 60k ton in production. It's necessary in Photovoltaics and NEVs.

It's main product UL0588 is at leading international level.
