Hi WTAN,

Is there any news regarding the progress on EUV project? and also about the DUV how many can be produce in a month by SMEE, can they able to mass produce the machine? sorry for being pushy but its been a hell of a week full of bad news.
The SMEE DUV Machine is certainly coming out end of this year or early next year. This machine is the saviour for China's Semiconductor Industry.

The Government really now has to "bite the bullet" and step in and properly fund the Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Industry. The Industry had not been funded very well at all for many years as it was assumed the "we can always get the equipment from foreigners".

The Government has to give low or no interest loans to the Companies in the Industry to develop equipment that can make 5nm and 7nm Chips and push them to develop it as soon as possible. Yes.....China has to develop the entire Production line of equipment and the Chinese Govt certainly has the money to fund it. It gives Billions of loans under BRI, which should be diverted to the Semiconductor Industry.

The Govt should then ensure Huawei be given technical help by SMIC and Huahong etc to set up the FABs to produce the Chips it needs.

The Government should accelerate research into EUV and a prototype should be produced ASAP.

From what i know, the only thing holding up the production of the EUV machine is the Light Source. But i think that sanity has prevailed and they are going for the conventional LPP EUV light source route. No dates on release but i think there will be pressure now on Changchun to make some sort of announcement.

How much is Europe investing in Iran? How much Iranian oil is Europe buying?

Do you understand the difference between saying and doing?

EU before sanctions was a large buyer of Iranian oil and did big volume of trade, imports and exports. The sanctions hit EU too but thats the cost of being enslaved by US foreign policy. Now given the turbulent times it seems the tide is turning. We will see

The EU is not a slave of the US. They listen to and follow the United States for good that it brings to greater than conflict with America. And that will still be true for the next 50 years.

A wise nation will not gamble. China does not put hope in the so-called "another president to replace Trump".

Trump continues to be president or the next president with a foreign policy like trump. It doesn't matter, everything is fine.

China has been prepared for every situation

Indeed, placing hopes on a different president is already surrendering agency to the Americans.

In time of peace store the grain that is age old Chinese wisdom. But modern technology enter the old age grain storage. Here is a fascinating look at how china store the grain. BTW china is self sufficient when it come to grain something like 95% self sufficiency. Oil and gas from domestic sources make up about 50% But with expansion of oil and gas pipeline from neighboring countries it could push it to 60-70%.
With a population of 1.4 billion, China has more people to feed than any other country in the world. How does it ensure food security? Click to find out

I was looking at something, else, then I want to read a little bit about the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.

If I understand that correctly, and what I have observed in the real world, that is the way you do it.

You play the percentages, that is not a sure thing, but make those right bets, and you come out ahead. That is what the CCP is doing.

But you are playing the percentages, making decisions but without certain outcomes, because of the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, that is still gambling.

Although, that would be more astute gambling. Comrade Deng Xiaoping taking the entire country on capitalist roader reforms, now that was real gambling. Real gambling means you can win big.

I don't think China (and everybody else) expected the US has the president like Trump ... a real loose cannon and very incompetence

Do not underestimate the idiot and/or people who has nothing to loose
