I beg your pardon
t2contra
did you perhaps confuse me with
Janiz
? LOL all I did was, while waiting for my meal, going over (very few at that time) recent posts and noticing a knowledge gap of
SamuraiBlue
which I tried to fill, as I indicated Today at 11:53 AM

obviously I didn't imply anything about:
as I hadn't read previous posts :)

by the way I think I read most of publicly available info about that Soviet tracking/targeting system which had been a stunning maritime asset

Not at all, I did not confuse you with Janiz.

[Me: (Semi?)-autonomous Bus/Train combo developed. Much cheaper (and more flexible) than true subways for short distances, more adaptable than standard buses (can add/remove passenger sections between the two locomotives at the front and back).]

The world's first railless train, developed by the CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co. Ltd, unveiled in Central China's Hunan province on Friday. The 30-meter train, with three carriages, is part of the intelligent rail express system by the developer, and runs on rubber tires rather than rails. The train can move at a speed of 70 km/h and can carry up to 500 passengers, offering new options for easing modern transport pressures. The train is also powered by electricity and can travel 40km per full charge. [Photo/VCG]

Auckland City had a fleet of standard diesel buses which included a half-length again like a train carriage. We called them bendy buses but they were not popular. They held up traffic and were hard to manoeuvre

China's nuclear power - Chinese Academy of Sciences: will launch the world's first mini "nuclear power treasure"
"充电宝" means "battery bank" that would normally be used to charge your mobile electronics. It implies that the reactor is light and portable.

Key points from the video:
-New coolant
-4th generation reactor
-For maritime platforms, islands, and remote areas
-Prototype can be completed in 5 years
-Shipping container size

The main benefit of this reactor is that it can be deployed to remote areas and be setup and dismantled in a short amount of time. It can possibly operate in locations where logistics are difficult such as on remote islands, Tibetan plateau, and provide power for electromagnetic/direct energy weapons on maritime platforms.

These are supposed to be on dedicated lanes, or "tracks". I think they need to make sure it has enough clearance in case of trash and potholes, looks awfully close to the ground.
