China, the largest trading nation in the world, has some of the busiest ports in the world. Vacuum-based automated mooring system can shorten the mooring time of a ship from 20-30 minutes to less than 30 seconds, raising the operating efficiency considerably for the loading and unloading of large fleets of cargo ships.

There was some announcement from Cook of expanding investment when he met Li Licheng back in autumn 2025 but I don't know the details. I do also remember TrendForce said more than 80% of iPhones are still made in China as of late last year, so as long as Apple does not allow that number to shift any lower, that is also a win.
