Isn't it better with desalination?
Desalination needs energy thus costs more. IIUC, many desalination technologies also require large piece of land to operate efficiently.

With this new approach, hydrogen can be produced at sea right by the electricity generators such as wind turbines. This is why Dongfang Electric, a large wind turbine manufacturer, is interested in it.

I am a loyal onePlus user. My phone is ove 4 years old, and is showing no degradation in performance whatsoever. In comparison I used to foolishly use a Google Pixel for 2 years, and it was just trash at that point. Barely could turn on due to faulty battery. Never making the mistake of buying a regime brand again.
I'm 4 years into a OnePlus 6T after 4 years with a OnePlus 1. Both are amazing phones. I'll only upgrade after this one dies on me. Too bad even OnePlus is getting expensive.

Recently the pixels only just introduced face unlock, like wth only 5 years too late.

No surprise here. 5G RAN is more important than 5G packet core. Huawei is way ahead in 5G RAN solutions. RAN is more profitable for vendors than packet core in 5G build-out. Germany simply picks the best available. Both parties win.
Headline is wrong. Should say "Germany ups reliance on Huawei BECAUSE OF security fears".

I've long suspected that the real US beef with Huawei isn't that China could then insert back doors for spying in 5G networks, but because the US/5E couldn't. This was basically confirmed to me when the UK was in effect ordered not to buy Huawei despite GCHQ saying that any security risks were manageable.

As it goes I had a look at Redmi in a shop today, didn't know they sold them here but they do. According to the shop guy they're cheaper than Samsung (my usual phone) at the lower end but about the same price at the top. Technology/capabilities similar. Anyway will consider it once my A20 dies (screen already royally cracked), I've never worshipped at the church of Steve Jobs.
