Well, do they have low visibility FLAG PATCH? Because in almost all of the photos I seen, when they do wear flag patch it is BRIGHT RED. It seems there doesn't exist a low visibility flag patch for the PLA soldiers.

That mainly is for people to know which unit they belongs to during exercises. However in real war, they are not going to wear such badges... or any badges at all.

If you look at the 5th soldier from the left, he is not wearing any flag patch at all, while the rest all wear flag patches. So it's obvious that this is not mandatory. As rhino123 suggested, the soldiers wear flag patches only for special occasions. It might be for photo ops, to be patriotic on camera... They don't normally wear flag patches in exercises. And this is consistent with the photos that I copied in my previous posts, where none of the soldiers wear flag patches.

Uh, if I am not mistaken you must wear flag patch under Geneva Convention in which China is a signatory.

The above photos show sides and front views of the US soldiers in the same operation "during a security patrol in Nad Ali, Helmand province, Afghanistan on July 19, 2014 (quoted). Do you see US flag patches anywhere?

Two US soldiers wear different flag patches, one low visibility (on the arm) and one high visibility (on the helmet) during an Angel Thunder mass-casualty exercise at Camp Navajo, Ariz.... Go figure...

Different views of U.S. Army Rangers during an exercise. See any flag patches?

Now we see the flag patches all over their camo... This is supposed to be the same exercise... So they put them on, take them off...

The USMC and USAF combat uniform regulations are written without any flags. The Geneva convention says a easily recognizable uniform. Meaning a style of dress different from civilian cloths and that holds some specific markings such as service and nationality these can be written markings or ensign.

I get what Ultra is saying, and it is a bit nitpicky, but it also couldn't really hurt. In any case, low-vis patches do nothing for the bright red stars on their vehicles. Not to mention the golden emblem on their helmets, which don't seem removable. Maybe they'll cover them up with their goggles anyway.

With that it mind, it's probably best to just file low-visibility patches and stuff under "Would be nice", and leave it at that.

I understand your concern. However, all the photos that we have seen show PLA soldiers in exercises. I am sure that they will switch to low visibility signs, emblems and patches in time of an actual conflict. these are all superficial stuff that does not affect the quality of the training and can be easily taken care of when it is the time. Other nations exercise wearing "high visibility" patches too.

I am also in the belief that the PLA is fully aware of the situation. If amateurs like us notice it, the professional should know about it...
