Welcome! Enjoy your stay in the real world outside the fantacy land.

Ok, since I haven't done a formal introduction of myself, although I've been around in this forum for 1 year and a half, so here it is:

I'm Chinese, 19 years old, living in Australia. OOE, tphuang and crobato are to me as Mao is to Red Guards. They are my deities. Teehee.

Btw, has crobato ever done an introduction? S/he's so very mysterious.

My name is Erik and I'm from Norway. Military background: I attended NCO-school in the Army Engineers during my military service.
I am now a happy student and I study business.

Although I am a happy student now, I left some of my heart in the military, and my hobby is basically reading about the world's military organisation, weapons and equipment. I also spend a lot of time at militaryphotos.com, where I have also seen bd_popeye :)

My interest used to be in Norwegian and US military, however, as I have become more and more interested in China and India and their rising status in the world, I've naturally enough also become more interested in their militaries. I came to sinodefence.com in search of more (and unbiased) information about the PLA, which I certainly have got.

After lurking for months, i decide it's time to register and pay proper respect to the forum

I am from Indonesia, I am ethnic Chinese, 25 y/o (ps : birthday is fake).
Always been fascinated with military stuffs (goes  on artillery firing shells) and also defense/geopolitics issues

I want to thank the members and leaders here for posting up to date and accurate information on china defense, matters that are simply state secret before the age of internet

Please let me lurk further more as my posts will simply be a waste of bandwidth to the forum

My respect

Hi, I'm Mike and I have been reading this forum for a while now. No background in the military, though I have taken interest in some of the analysis/discussion here and on other similar forums. I am an university student studying economics. Hopefully I can contribute to the discussion in matters other than just military =P

Re: New members introductions - New members Introduce yourselves

Hello everyone! I am born in China but moved to the United States when I was 9 and I am currently a sophomore studying at the University of Texas at Austin. I am majoring in Electrical Engineering and I have developed an interest in jet planes, especially fighters. My parents used to work at Nanhang (an University focused on Aerospace) in Nanjing, China and I've been exposed to all sorts of Chinese aviation equipments (there was a disassembled air to air missile on display at the play where my mom used to work!) at an early age. I am fluent in Chinese (mandarin) and I am hoping to learn more about defence technology on the forum.
