There is the Sampson radar used on the Type 45 warships. And the first fighter AESA of all, which is on the Japanese F-2. The MiG-35 has a prototype AESA radar. AESA also appears in satellites as well.

Lets get this troll banned.

the first operational AESA was Japanese navy,enter service in 1989it adapted rotating antenna,rather than fix antenna,but it uses hybrid circuit rather than more modern monolith circuit.

5 years ago , report that nanjing lab has successfully develop x band t/r mmic,output quoted at 6 watts,by contrast single t/r mmic for APG-77 has output of 10 watts.
wonder if there's any technical data from russia,according to IDR,phozotron abandon the company development t/r mmic instead it will sub contruct the development t/r module to 2 russian firms.to date 3 type t/r mmic were developed for future fighter program.
any data from russian t/r mmic,?

well, it's just a matter of time before they show US J-10. It looks like they are jjust showing a little more everytime.

The article says collision with J-7 wasn't it the J-8? Cause I swear it collided with the J-8.

Anyone translate this better for me? Seems to be about J-10 vs. Su-27 engagement some time ago when the J-10s started equipping that 44th Div. regiment in Yunnan (131st?). I believe the reference for Sichuan here is the Su-27s of the 33rd Division in Chongging.

网上有歼10大败苏27传闻，咱就编个故事，给大家周日消遣。声明一下：如有雷同，纯属巧合。

歼10首家装备“滇军”某团后，军区空军就有人琢磨开了：咱的家当也有了两个“三代机”团了，能不能搞一个对抗演习？建议提出，争论激烈，上上下下讨论了三天，最后某司令拍板，“对打！”

某王牌机团的驻地以前也属于四川，故业内就戏称“滇军”与“川军”对决。

川滇两地都是多山、多雾，气象条件复杂。川军用三代机已有多年，想利用这个气象条件，编队出航，“腾云驾雾”中用“超视距”就把对手干掉。结果是，川军刚一升空，编队集结还没完成，对方就开始攻击，顷刻间川军“损失”了“两位数”的战机，完败。

中间情节，就有哪位来续编了，咱就管（一），哪位来（二）??吧。
