I would like to add that unlike ternary batteries, LFP batteries, such as Zeekr's 2nd generation "Golden Battery", can undergo such fast charging repeatedly without damage or degradation.

China installed more than 3.9 million EV chargers from July 2023 to July 2024, an increase of 53%.

A Chinese company will develop solid-state battery for Renauld's China JV.

Children killing machines? C'mon now. That's pretty harsh. Each one of us is entitled to his or her opinion.

There is a scroll down chart on the page below showing traffic deaths per 100,000 people. The US is at 12.7 deaths per 100,000 people. China's vehicular death rate is 17.4 per 100,000 people. Japan's death rate is really low at 3.6 per 100,000 people. Singapore vehicular death rate is 2.1 per 100,000.

That traffic death number for China is pure western fantasy.

Much of the statistics about China used in Western reports are simply made up numbers to fit their desired narratives and biases. Traffic death numbers is one such case.

, which works out to less than 4.5 deaths per 100,000 people.
However, most Western reports do not use China's reported number as they think China must have a lot more traffic deaths because Chinese are bad drivers, Chinese cars are unsafe, etc., and so they just come up with their own "estimates" out of thin air. So according to Wikipedia,

traffic deaths in 2019, nearly 4x as much as China's reported number. It is amazing that they are able to come up with such a specific estimate down to single-digit accuracy without actually collecting any data in China!

Absolutely. GWM is a good brand in that sense.

I just hate GWM personally because I don't want China's streets to become like America's full of massive children killing machines wasting space for no reason. I much prefer the southeast asian/japanese/european small car culture in this regard.
A DOHC V8 “child-killer” was one of my favourite vehicles to drive in my life, lol.

It seems we may see soon new high in vehicle purchases by Chinese

The notice details an increase in subsidy standards for replacing old vehicles. Specifically, the subsidy for purchasing a new energy passenger vehicle after scrapping the old one has been doubled from ¥10,000 to ¥20,000($1,400-$2,800). For purchasing a fuel-powered passenger vehicle, the subsidy has also been increased from ¥7,000 to ¥15,000($970-$2,100), more than doubling the previous amount.
These changes reflect the government's commitment to encouraging the adoption of newer, more environmentally friendly vehicles

This interested me and I looked into it.

In 2019, there were 62K recorded vehicular deaths in China.

Of course in the wiki, they said 250K for the same year 2019. This seems to be picked up by Western pubs. If we are to be nice about it we can imagine they confused the injuries for deaths:

If we are less charitable, they might be deliberately inflating a 4.0 deaths per 100K rate to 17.4 just to conform to a narrative.

The official figure for China is around 4.05/100K far below the US at 12.9.

Lynk & Co, which is jointly owned by Geely Auto and Volvo Cars, seems to be seeing good initial acceptance of its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, the Z10.

In the first 24 hours of pre-sales, the Z10 received more than 10,000 pre-orders, Lynk & Co announced today.
