If BYD can set up even a plant in Cambodia then Pakistan can be done too if they offer the right deal
The fact that they(or most Chinese EV maker for that matter) haven't done so (and has shown no intention of doing so despite the close relations between China and Pakistan) should tell us alot about the state of Pakistan itself despite its huge population .
Moroever Cambodia is a peaceful stable SEA country politically compared to the chaotic messy state of Pakistan with terror groups all around the country. If not for the closed political and geopolitical ties between China and Pakistan then i don't even think there will be much Chinese companies setting up shop there due to the security situation itself in that country. Unfortunately the country has failed in almost all levels this past 2/3 decades and to make things worse things are not looking any better going forward(actually it's only getting worse). :(
