I'm sure you all know this better than me, but I believe that in Europe they sometimes use commas to indicate the fractional portion of the number and use the "decimal point" as a separator for thousands. Was told that the comma makes for a bolder separation between the integer and the fractional portion (i.e., easier to see).
German here, we use 10.000 to denote 10k
I think that's how most if not all of continental Europe denote numbers.

definitely not that high. the overall market was 78.2k in May, so they are at most 7% of market
