BYD e6 is legal in Canada

Side note, I see a lot of promotion of the same video by that sexpat guy about "BYD going on fire". Almost every western-based article on Chinese EVs has some commenter linking to it. Almost certainly he is being paid by one or more of US disinfo efforts, FLG, Traditional car companies (Toyota), gas and oil companies.
The target seems to be mainly North America where BYD cars are not generally available to try to keep them out.

Which sexpat guy? It doesn't really narrow things down :(

I saw rumours that BYD might come to Canada, fingers crossed.

DM 5.0 will be the Game Over moment for the JVs!

We placed an order for a 2024 Denza D9, which is DM 3.0. Once BYD put DM 5.0 on Denza, we'll trade this one in. Our usual driving pattern is 100km within Shanghai, which is covered by D9 200km CLTC battery. But once in a month we take a 500 to 1000 km trip, perfectly suited for DM3.0's 1050km range.
