It depends on how much emphasis Huawei places on software vs cars. If it emphasizes the software as Google does then it shouldn't be an issue.huawei & chery cooperation will be interesting to see. This current model of huawei working with different OEMs long term is not sustainable imo, especially when they have to worry about competing against other huawei cars and want to promote their own cars (in the case of chery).

the problem is that Huawei ends up turning its "partners" to just manufacturers of its products. It's no longer Seres product. It's a huawei product now. BYD selling batteries to competitors is a bigger issue. That's a bit more like an Intel vs. TSMC situation as cars are a big revenue source for BYD, not just batteries.
