unbelievable #s. Russia was a 1.5m/yr automarket. So this works out to be 2/3 of the market using June run rate. Keep in mind that Russia sold 60k+ in all of last december, so Chinese export in June was higher than that. Shows Russian economy has basically recovered and Chinese companies have kept their market share in Russia as that happened.

Even the Mexican and Australian numbers are really high

随着比亚迪汽车销量的暴增，其对半导体的需求也暴增。因为需求量惊人，比亚迪半导体的竞争对手，也成了比亚迪的供应商。士兰微、斯达半导体、中车时代电气等众多半导体企业都为比亚迪供应IGBT等功率半导体。

而在全新的碳化硅上，比亚迪也目光如炬，动作迅捷。2016年，比亚迪将SiC单管用在了OBC上，两年后，比亚迪开发出了碳化硅模组，根据相关消息显示，2022年比亚迪来自碳化硅的营收在5亿元左右，博世、意法半导体都是其碳化硅供应商。

但比亚迪这只饕餮巨兽对碳化硅的需求只会更多，根据比亚迪惯例，下场自己扩产早已成为一种常态，在碳化硅领域也不例外。

6月15日，深圳市生态环境局公布了关于《比亚迪汽车工业有限公司碳化硅外延中试线量产项目环境影响报告书》受理公告。公告显示，比亚迪将投资2.14亿元扩建碳化硅外延中试线项目，扩产后将新增SiC外延片产能6000片/年，合计产能达18000片/年。

外延之外，比亚迪在碳化硅衬底方面也成果显著，根据“龙岗发布”的消息显示，比亚迪已成功攻克碳化硅晶圆衬底全环节工艺和设备制造技术，4英寸碳化硅晶圆性能已达到世界先进水平。

且此前比亚迪的招股书中显示，其拟募资31亿建设3个项目，其中7.3亿将用来建设碳化硅项目，主要用在宁波厂房建设SiC功率半导体晶圆制造产线，项目建成后，公司将拥有月产2万片SiC晶圆制造产能，项目建设期为5年。比亚迪对碳化硅需求巨大，对碳化硅投入也不菲。

Looks like BYD has been buying SiC modules from Bosch & ST just like it does with buying IGBTs from Silan, StarPower & CRRC due to the huge explosive sales of its cars.

It has 730m investment for SiC projects still including new production line in Ningbo. When complete, it can produce 20k Sic wpm. Project to take 5 years. That's a huge increase over the 12k wpm where we are at right now & 18k probably by end of this yr. 20x increase in capacity

Can these numbers really be correct?
Russian car registrations/sales for June are supposedly only 52279,

Looking at Russian state media this seem to hold true:

I know there can be plenty of trickery with cars registered in other countries, but those shouldn't be reported as exports to Russia regardless?

Lithium production and exports way up in first half of the year. over 400GWh of lithium batteries produced

OBC market share for 1st half. Another segment where BYD dominates by simple supplying its own cars. Although I do wonder if it will be forced to get into GaN

The Association of European
Businesses (AEB) does not report monthly numbers for all brands selling in Russia.

For example, Changan and Chery, Exeed, Omoda sell over 30,000 cars per month but only report to AEB quarterly.

In July 120,000 vehicles were sold in Russia but the AEB reported only 53,000.
