Here is the thing, that previous article about not having OS is nonsense. BYD has a perfectly fine OS and you can see from articles like this, they are able to do OTAs to include all the support people would need. OS is not an issue! On the other hand, looks like the Atto 3 vehicles will continue to improve in the Aussie market.

notice how Robosense is lower. Well, they will get a lot larger when BYD still putting them on its cars. At this point, there is plenty of demand. It will be interesting to see how quickly they can ramp up production.
Robosense is looking for another $150 million of funding
This could be critical to the supply chain. Looks like both Hesai and Robosense get laser chips here. I wouldn't be surprised that BYD also gets into Lidar based on some of its investment. It just probably doesn't trust anyone to ramp up production the way it can.
