It's confirmed that WeLion, which started the construction of a 100 GWh factory for semi-solid-state and solid-state batteries in February this year, is indeed Nio's battery supplier. It will manufacture Nio ET7's semi-solid-state battery with a 1,000 km range (probably 450 mile real life range).
Nio will double its 2022 R&D expenditure to more than $1.5 billion.
