New amphibious "surfing" IFV

again some people got confuse to zbd to zlc 2000, zbd200 has a 105mm or 30mm cannon, zlc has a 25mm cannon.
well i guess i was wrong the whole time thinking that it was just a type63 upgrade for surfing fast on water. What i am wondering is, given this vehicle as we can see that it can hold a few crew inside it, is there a point for type-97??????? or is the passenger seats only available to the IFV variant instead of the amphibious assault variant?

Well, the 105mm armed variant has no capacity for infantry, as the turret and the ammo take toomuch space and weight.
The USMC EFV has retractable suspension and is completely designed around being more of an armoured speedboat than an APC . It can go faster in the water than it can on land in the right conditions, up to 50 miles an hour. Also has a stabilized 30mm cannon and ERA and composite materials to make up the armor package. The EFV is by far the most capable amphibious assault vehicle in the world, and judging from all the pictures that we've been provided with I would seriously doubt that this "new" Chinese vehicle is comparable when it comes to its combat effectiveness and capability. But it will definately provide the Chinese Marine Corps. with the same kind of 'ship-to-shore safely' capability.
If you read the previous posts, compared the pics then you'd know that this new Chinese vehicle is photo shop'd...oh and as a matter of correction the EFV (AAAV was its old designation) does not use ERA as part of its armor suite. How did you get the impression that its faster on water than on land???? Water is an extremely challenging environment and although the EFV is fast, to say its faster in the water than on land is ...not plausible...
The EFV can indeed swim at 50 mph/80 km/h since it rides on top of the water. Doing 50 mph on land isn't easy for tracked vehicles.
As for the PLA, I find it stupid for them to have build Type 97s and 63As and suddenly, this. It is advanced, but there is no need.

I think zbd2000 is specially for amphibious assult and zbd97 is for replacing old IFVs. According to the website of zbd2000's producer (now the webpage is gone but you can still find it on internet), zbd2000 is "the most sophisticated and advanced armoured vehicle in Chinese history". I guess it's probably also the most expensive one.
