My vote still goes for the 30mm. After all the latest Chinese IFVs use it (qv Type 97, ZBD-2000, upgraded Type 86)

It's hard to put that pic into context but it doesn't look like it's as fast as the USMC EFV from that pic. Maybe it's just starting off or coming to a stop, but isn't it meant to rise up like a speedboat?

They use both calibers. Apparently the same turret (apparently-it looks the same in photos) can accomodate either the 25mm (ZBD-2000) or the 30mm (type 86G

). My mistake on the ZBD-2000.

The external braces on the gun of the new "amtrack" also seem to indicate 30mm, as it appears similar to other braced 30mm guns I've seen...

The gun on ZBD-2000 seems to differ from that on the turret of modified Type 86. I don't think it's possible to tell if the turret can use both 25mm and 30mm from that picture.

I noticed there was no water spot on the vehicle body during the high speed water mode through all pics. In addition, if the suspension system was not capable to retract (they looks like torsion bar system to me), how China's advanced IFV can do surfing and high speed steering without huge dragging from the water?

thats freaking awesome were can i get one of those tanks, suff taking the ferry to uni i'll have one oof them tanks.
on an engineering perspective "It seems that a motor/s have capabliities of possibly 2000 Hp all up" i have no clue wat i am writting about but those tanks are the coolest thing to come out of china right after martial arts.
