if the HEAT hits a fully extended bow plane, it's effectiveness would be greatly decreases as the jet stream would have dispersed by the time it actually hits the main hull.

Also, goldenpanda, learn how to read. Or don't talk.

hey eecs what's your problem with yourself?

wangyue I went to the site cjby.net but didn't find the article with the pictures. My guess is they are taken during testing. During exercise the beaches will not look empty.

I'm not sure if you're autistic, young, or just plain stupid. Costas said

"The black and white pics are PS'ed images, using photos that originally featured the American AAAV/EFV for the background... Nevertheless, they are interesting, as they show what the vehicle looks like in action."

if you know how to read, or do not have significant mental problems, you would notice the phrase "FOR THE BACKGROUND". Of course you didn't, and here is what you typed:

"Umm, why don't you back that up with something? You can't.

Compare the features in the color photos with the b&w, even compare the camouflage, they are the same vehicles."

so either retract your statement and apologize to Costas for misreading his post, or start carrying the reputation of a juvenile here. Your choice.

eecs have you ever used photoshop? Try to ps some water spray into a sea background, then a vehicle INSIDE the spray. You think ps is like 1+1=2?

think about it what would you use for a background? If you use the original spray, the vehicle you want to plop down has to be taken from the *exact same angle*. If you could make your own spray that good..you'd be putting state of art CG to shame.

Yes, I can back it up. Gimme a sec to find the related thread in another forum.

ok. but it was a very good one.

looks like the guy made a very good 3D model then rendered from the angle he wanted.

I don't know if eecs gave you support, or he just liked to mouth off.

The support was that he brought the phrase ''for the background" to your attention, although I do not condone the way he phrased some of his comments.

I knew what I thought was too good to be true, but I just don't want to believe it!!! I got to admit, who ever did this, did a pretty good job!

Good find. So the reason the originally posted pocs had two closely coupled barrels is because its a 3D model and some has used the mirror function with the barral slightly off-centre, lol.

So, a single barrelled gun with lots of external support. Maybe 20mm or 25mm.
