I confirmed was nothing but several mentioned connections between the NPU & XAC so it was a likely conclusion!

Was advised the latest Guancha podcast episode stated or implied that the aircraft in question flew over Xi'an and is tied to Northwestern Polytechnical University (西北工业大学).

Haven't listened to the episode myself, so hopefully someone who has will be able to elaborate assuming that's accurate.

This building does not look like Shaanxi or anywhere northwest China, but more like southern China. There is rarely moss to grow on roof edges in northern China due to the dry climate. Rain can be heavy in summer, but the strong sun and strong wind will quickly dry up exposed surface leaving no chance for moss to grow at places like roof top. It is common in southern China though due to the months long cloudy and rainy season.

But it's also humid up there in summer.
