They will just use H-6K bombers for Guam.
Its only a matter of time when all those who are now unemployed (by the millions) along with this pandemic going full swing and with the economy now officially in the toilet will eventually take there fury out on Trump and the government (since he is the one responsible for getting the stimulus money to them after he has failed to act in the nations time of need one too many times) and then the USA will have much more pressing things to deal with regards to his own survival then to keep on pissing off China.

All I hope is... Trump being ousted soon and everything back to normal, at least, pre-Trump era.

Trump is just a figurehead and lightning rod, like Hitler, channeling and giving voice to hatred and bigotry that are already deeply rooted in American society. I mean, they have only been discriminating against Chinese since before there was a United States, who would have thought that would leave a toxic legacy?

To be honest, I still think Trump is the least of evils for China. If a traditional US politician was in power, they would be every bit as anti-China, with the only difference being they would be far better at hiding that behind flowery words and fake principles and thus would be able to get a lot more international and domestic American support for their plans to screw China over.

Right now it’s just America and a few of its Five Eyes lapdogs doing all the attacks against China. If America had a more competent and characteristic leader, there is a good chance he would have been able to get a far broader coalition, and many more Chinese would still be deluded about American aims.

how ridiculous. the US public displays zero revolutionary potential because they have been raised entirely as consumerist pigs. as long as they keep the unemployment benefits flowing, nothing will come of this.

Wouldn't the ban on American companies doing transactions with WeChat prevent Apple from offering WeChat in its Chinese Appstore ? Or is the Chinese Appstore controlled by an Apple subsidy that's outside U.S. jurisdiction? Anyway the mere possibility that WeChat could be removed from your phone at the whim of U.S. government is going to tank iphone sales in China.

Most likely the US tech companies like google, apple, microsoft will be fighting this type of order in court. Heck, maybe even gm, walmart, amazon etc.
I can't see how countries or blocks including the EU would not try to have tech/os independence at this point.

That would mean users in China cannot download douyin, and all Tencent apps in Chinese app store?
