Here is another good TV film called World War Three. I remember watching it as a kid, as Russian paratroopers came reigning down on the Alaskan state.

Here's the Red Dawn Trailer.

Looks like it has a good production value. I can understand why they couldn't just shelf the movie after the money they spent on it. The thing in the movie that I can see makes it suck is the secret EMP device that allowed China/North Korea to invade the US that seems to be the center of the story. People on message boards are complaining about what's realistic about who can invade who. Oh yeah, they're being invaded with the use of Y-8 transports. I especially love comments I read multiple of times mentioning how could they change it from Chinese to North Koreans when the actors are Chinese. The actors are actually Korean.

LMAO...What...no Asian-American on the "good guy" side? It looks to me just another yellow peril propaganda (Asian vs. Caucasians), and I can already see all the right wing idiots will take it seriously.

I'm hoping this movie bombs! We all know this movie is going to inspire more Wade Michael Page's and Adam Holcomb's and if you read the stuff on facebook about this movie the people who want to see this you can feel their hate for Chinese.

Also I don't want to hear how China make "nationalistic" movies but western countries make "patriotic" movies and not nationalistic ones anymore.

What I heard from an early draft of the script was one of the women was suppose to be Chinese. Back then I just interpreted it as throwing in a token just so they counter any accusations the movie was outright anti-Chinese.

Just watched the Expendables 2. It was funny and fun but leave your brain at the door. I guess Jet Li had scheduling conflicts because he wasn't in it that long. Interesting that they're already casting for the third movie. Apparently Nicolas Cage has signed on and they're trying to get Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford. When I was at Comic Con, Jackie Chan said he has been asked before to be in the movie but he was busy with other projects but would like to do it. The next one might be the one even though it might be odd since he's never really been into doing brutal action.

Here's something I found on the internet from a guy who reimagined superheroes being played by different actors. This one was was the most popular one.

By Who?

I was listening to a interview with his daughter who said that her father , because he was Eurasian, was not fully accepeted by the Chinese. I dont know whether she was referring to HK where he lived part of his life.

As opposed to being accepted in the US? His career was a result of his stardom in Asia not the US. So who accepted who more?

I'm old enough to remember how popular those Bruce Lee movies were in the US back in the 70s. True he was a star in Asia but also a star in the US.
