Hhhm that battle would last 0.1 seconds. Godzilla is like 50 times the size of Trex and he's immune to nuclear weapons lol.
Better matchup would be Godzilla and the monster from cloverfield.

Awww...but what if that T-Rex was genetically modified to be bigger and faster than the standard adult size male T-Rex? With those super size hind legs with all that muscle could strike Godzilla down like a football player (JJ Watt of the Texans) sacking or tackling a QB or running back. Once you get Godzilla down on his back he's pretty much at a disadvantage.

first why? Tyrannosaurus Rex was the Hyper Predator of the North American continent, it got it's name Rex as it was the First of the Hyper class theropod carnivores that was discovered. but despite it's popularity it was really isolated only to the american west. now there are relatives of T-rex spread across North America, Asia and Europe. particularly the Alioramus and Tarbosaurus family in China. But pound for pound T-Rex was not the biggest. at 40 feet long 13 feet tall and 7.5 tons T-rex was a monster but Take a little trip to Mirage Driver's neck of the fossil record, And we find Giganotosaurus the longest known specimen 43 feet in length and a weight of about 13.5 tons or roughly equal to a M113 APC.
but still we can go bigger. Carcharodontosaurus, this native African Hyper predator sits at a equal to Giganotosaurus. but sharing the same range we find the suspected top champ. a Creature that could match G in being amphibious Spinosaurus 47 feet long 23 tons, although that's still under debate.

I believe that the T-Rex scenario started when Equation posted a cartoon that stated T-Rex was basically a large chicken. Not to place blame on Equation, since I then continued the thread with the comparison of your current avatar as a large chicken. I believe it has snowballed since then……
