Tyrant King
the guy with the samurai sword and that wonderful coat.he was in Robocop 3.I'm with TerraN_EmpirE on this one. I find it just looks like a modern take on a humanoid robot, rather than the intentionally cluncky 80's concept of robots. Remember the Japanese robot one of the older robocop films? (IIRC) That guy looked completely human, let alone guy in a suit, and far from a robot at all.
On another note, aside from the black color, nothing here looks like batman to me.
I guess it all depends on how much they stick to the original canon. If this is like a reboot of the franchise than perhaps it is acceptable. In the original canon his human body was so messed up there is no way he could've been in a suit afterward, exskeleton or not. Basically the only thing left of Murphy was his head/brain/spine and maybe his ticking heart. Everything else is pretty much mush after the amount of lead the bad guys pumped into his body and extremities!
I remember Robocop line for line... In the first one there was a scene where in Morton and Johnson were being introduced to Murphy. Now Murphy was about to be... "assimilated" into robo so he was more or less on life support and the scene is from his first person. The doctor is showing Morton, Murphy and he beams proudly that they managed to save the arm. (Presumably the right as in the gore scene where Murphy is blown to bits with shotguns one of the first shots takes his left off at the shoulder a bit of Hollywood gun myth really.) now Morton is miffed by this as he had planned full body prosthetic. He and Johnson then proceeded to talk to each other about keeping the arm. The conversation is in the same manor as someone choosing the drapes or the color of the paint might talk it over with there friend or other. In the end they tell the doctor to loose the arm. So keeping the hand is loyal to the original.
