It's all over now, PRC might as well just accept Taiwan's independence:

Seriously though, China's best bet is to ignore Lettuce Liz in the same way that everyone in the UK does now. Clearly a desperate attempt by her to maintain some sort of relevancy after her disastrous and mercifully brief premiership.
Considering what a stupid fop she was and that how conversation in regards to Nordstream 2 about how she told Blinken ‘it’s done’ has more or less outed both the USA and UK as the primary instigators of this crisis, I don’t think she has any real value any more. In fact the west would be stupid to use her for anything any more due to how much of a liability she is. If their is a lesson T.K. learn is that any female leader that is supported by the USA gains power, it’s probably best to hope for someone to put a bullet in that moron because anyone with a brain knows that the plant will definitely not have the nations best interest at heart

Some Taiwan province news ...

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — New Taipei City Mayor and Prospective Kuomintang (KMT) presidential candidate Hou You-yi (侯友宜) on Monday (May 8) made his political stances on Taiwan Independence and China's "one country, two systems" formula clear for the first time publicly.

At a session of the New Taipei City Council, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) councilors pressed Hou on his stance on the two cross-strait issues. Hou responded by saying, "I oppose one country, two systems, uphold Taiwan's own democratic values, and move forward," reported CNA.
Hou said that one has a legal basis under the Constitution of the Republic of China, but "Taiwan independence has no legal basis, so I oppose Taiwan independence."

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan Minister of National Defense Chiu Kuo-cheng (邱國正) on Monday (May 8) said that the armed forces would not tolerate the destruction of any Taiwanese facility, in response to a suggestion by U.S. Congressman Seth Moulton that the U.S. should warn China that it would "blow up" Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) if it attacked Taiwan.
The defense minister said that the armed forces are responsible for defending Taiwan and its people, materials, and strategic resources. Therefore, "if they want to bomb this or that," the armed forces will not tolerate this kind of situation, Chiu said.
