You might be on to something, that tweet was talking about the low profile 8th round of FTA talks between China and Israel recently held in Israel.

The liberal US establishment has been attacking Netanyahu for a while now.

Netanyahu Has Made Israel a U.S. Adversary

Netanyahu finally responded to US attacks in a tweet

These tweets seem like subtle hints that Israel is trying to play the I'll be friends with China if you don't be nice card. Imagine the shockwaves it would sent if soon China and Israel signs a FTA in the near future.

I have underestimated the Chinese strategists, just as I’ve underestimated their COVID handling ability in early 2020. It is now becoming apparent that they were held back for the previous two years when it appeared that rapprochement with the US was still possible. Now they’ve been uncaged and are rapidly reshaping the international order.

I kind of don't understand what's his end-game goal there. Use China's influence to hold back Iranian nuclear program but then why would he undercut JCPOA earlier? Establish close ties with China to make their pro-Palestine voices quieter but then why would he antagonize US which always supported Israeli settler colonialism and blocked multiple UN resolutions on that matter?

Zelenskyy is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Why would Xi talk to a puppet who doesn’t make any decisions?!

Zelenskyy expressed readiness to receive Chinese President Xi Jinping in the country. The President of Ukraine has already sent him an invitation.

"We are ready to see him here", Zelenskyy in an interview with AP. “I want to talk to him. But for this whole year, more than one year, I have not had any contacts with him."

I expect Xi to call Zelensky after he holds meeting with the Spanish PM, Macron, and Ursula.

My impression of some EU leaders like Scholz and Macron is that they want to preserve and even deepen their economic engagement with China but the political / media atmosphere is very unfavorable to them so they have to justify their trips somehow by securing symbolic "wins" from China on the Ukraine issue. You saw it with Scholz when he headed a big business delegation to China but sold it as a "win" to his audience because of the joint statement by Xi and Scholz regarding the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Now again Spanish PM and Macron will secure some economic deals and sell it as a "win" because Xi agrees to speak to Zelensky.

Seems like China is keeping it's card really close and has a perfect poker face.

Leave it to the country whose monarchy still hunts for sport to defend their reverse colonial master and treat the death of another country's national living treasure as a non-issue.

What then is their excuse for treating an animal in such a neglectful way that it lived in perpetual misery right up until it just gave up and dropped dead?

"Relax bro it's just a dead panda"?

You would (rightfully) be in jail if you did that to your own dog for animal cruelty and abuse. China should demand the people responsible for this crime be extradited to China to face justice as part of any future deals with the US.

Netanyahu wanted to keep maximum sanctions to kill Iran's economy, JCPOA stops that plan. He wants closer ties to China for economic benefits, which is what literally every country wants from China, nothing to do with Palestine. UN is a farce, so is UN resolution. Whats the US going to do, sit by and watch other countries attack Israel under the guise of a UN resolution?

I think Netanyahu will start another war in the middle east soon to distract the domestic audience, then use the opportunity to push through his legal reforms. If the US establishment keeps attacking him, I'd expect him to make a call to Putin or Xi to threaten the west.

Russians shouldn't balk at learning a new language, in time they will come to regard learning putonghua with the same reverence as they used to revere learning French and German.
Additionally, when i studied in China, the Russians i met there spoke fluent mandarin so i know it's a lot more possible than some might believe. The only caucasoids who rivaled them in ability were the mormon missionaries looking to get useful idiots for the CIA.

A major incident has taken place in the Ohio River near Louisville, Kentucky, requiring multiple emergency response teams. Ten barges have detached from their tugboat and are stranded at a dam, with one carrying over 1,400 tons of methanol, a highly toxic substance, and reportedly sinking. It is uncertain if there has been any leakage, but if so, the substance will likely dilute quickly, although some fish mortality may occur. The other barges were carrying soybean oil and corn.

Its always the same, discredit and disparage the source to deflect from the issue.

China Sees Global Challenges; Carbon-Trade Proposal: Boao Update

Chinese officials told the forum earlier on Wednesday that China is facing a more challenging global environment this year with a weaker world economy and inflation risks. The forum’s participants are expected to hear more details from Li about the outlook for the world’s second largest economy from his keynote speech scheduled for Thursday morning.

Government officials and business leaders are meeting this week on the tropical island of Hainan for the conference, with discussions on topics ranging from supply chain disruption to the post-Covid economic recovery to clean energy and geopolitical tensions. Billed as an Asian version of the World Economic Forum, the conference kicked off Tuesday and is slated to run through Friday.

What to Watch:

  • Li will deliver a keynote speech at the conference Thursday morning, after holding meetings with a couple of visiting foreign leaders Wednesday afternoon, including the IMF’s Managing Director Kristalina Ivanova Georgieva
  • Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Georgieva and Ivory Coast Prime Minister Patrick Achi will also attend the keynote speech
  • There will be panels Thursday afternoon discussing various subjects from ESG investment to the next generation of Internet and energy revolution

NDRC Sees Slowing Growth, Persistent Inflation (10:46 a.m.)

China is facing a more challenging global economic environment as growth slows and countries like the US struggle to contain inflation, a senior official at the nation’s economic planning agency said.

Global growth lacks momentum and downward pressure is rising, Zhao Chenxin, vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at the Boao Forum. It’s very uncertain whether the US and Europe can curb inflation, he added. The global financial system’s fragility is increasing, and the Silicon Valley Bank crisis will need to be monitored, said Zhao.
Good western news to follow with 2023 Boao Forum.

Like i was saying, look how Napoleon would weep to see his once great nation reduced to a poodle for the Anglo-saxons, of all peoples! Charlemagne himself would weep that his once mighty empire is now a two bit hatchetman for Anglos as well.

Former President of ROC, Ma pays respect to the victims of the Nanjing Massacre. Kuomintang is a spent force but if they have enough influence at least to convince taiwanese officers to stand day during AR, they may yet prove their worth.

Changes, not seen in a hundred years are occurring and the leaders of the world are making their way to China to pay homage
