"Cooperate" in that the US expects China to continue to supply them and their companies as if the semi sanctions never happened. Like making graphics cards, and assembling computers with their precious chips which China cannot import in them. They basically expect to have their own cake and eat it at the same time. After the lackluster Chinese government response to the Huawei sanctions, the US thinks they can get away with it too.

Russian Tu-142 fighter jets managed to quickly enter the US air defense identification zone.
A group of two fighter jets from the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet has made NORAD command nervous about their unexpected entry into US airspace and the Canadian Air Defense Identification Zone. According to preliminary data, the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet Tu-142 aircraft can be said, but details have not yet been announced.
According to the NORAD command, the Russian planes, however, did not pose a threat, having entered the area of American and Canadian air defense systems, Russian planes headed for Alaska and suddenly changed the direction of their movement.
“On September 11, 2022, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) located, tracked and positively identified two Russian naval patrol aircraft that entered and operated in the US identification zones. ” Russian Alaskan and Canadian Air Defense (ADZ) planes remained in international airspace and did not penetrate the sovereign airspace of the United States and Canada. This recent Russian activity in the US air defense zone is not considered a threat or provocative activity. NORAD tracks and identifies foreign military aircraft entering the air defense zone, regularly monitors the movement of foreign aircraft and, if necessary, accompanies them with air defense equipment. - declared in the message.
The purpose of the flight of Russian planes has not yet been officially named.

UK extends deadline to remove Huawei from 5G networks after one carrier warned of outages​

  • U.K. telcos will now have until December 2023 to remove Huawei 5G equipment from their network “cores,” where some of the most sensitive data is processed.
  • The government had originally ordered them to do so by January.
  • BT CEO Philip Jansen had warned the ban may result network outages for customers if implemented too hastily.

Tu-142 is a maritime reconnaisance and ASW aircraft developed from the Tu-95 strategic bomber, not a fighter jet.
