Gonna edit this to what they'd write if China were the one involved:

This just goes to show what Prof Jin Canrong said a few years back, that the US would start to play the Taiwan card as its position got more tenuous.
This is not unlike the way the US kept pushing Russia on Ukraine.

Guys, I don't know where exactly to put this, so I choose to put it here because it is related though not the same topic.
There seems to be a new potential battle field; Serbia vs Kosovo. As you all know, Kosovo used to belong to Yugoslavia. In 1999, the US bombed Yugoslavia and cut off Kosovo from Serbia. In 2008, Kosovo declare independent but some allies of the then Yugoslavia haven't recognized the state and oppose its position in the U.N.
There are some 50,000 Serbian still living in north Kosovo and using all types of documents issued by Serbian government. Recently, Kosovo government demand them to change all documents including car plates within 60 days. It escalates the situation and tension between the two states. The relation with the war in Ukraine is: Serbia is an ally to Russia while Kosovo is backed by NATO. If the two states go war, that would be another Russia vs NATO proxy war. If there is also an exchange fire between US and China over Taiwan, we are getting nearer to WWIII.
