I'm not interested in Communism or any other "ism". Just speaking truth to power. Like I said, if the next generation of China's leadership adopts interference and decides to act like the European then the PRC will be in for a hard time.
And China will not adopt that level of intervention and interference as the west has. China's form of hegemony is more in tributary style without colonising, imposing, forcing, enslaving and genociding like the west. Keep in mind we are talking about Japan doing this, not China. We're talking about how China should respond to Japan adopting intervention and interference against China.
Japanese arrogance is not reason enough to topple their mascot emperor, China outclasses Japan in most measurable aspects these days except per capita gdp and what, anime? That's the ultimate defeat if you ask me. Japan will not get involved in any damn war with Taiwan, everybody knows this. This is why the Americans were trying to seek assurances and the Japanese ignored them. It's one of the reasons why the US has toned down their rhetoric on Taiwan, they know they'll be on their own.
Japan literally is entertaining the idea of getting involved and has the political stupidity and type of political leaders that might. This is to America's satisfaction as it would love it if Japan lays itself down to fight this war. The danger is Japan failing to appreciate its relative weakness and imposing a cost to both China and Japan if it persists with getting actively involved in a Chinese internal matter, actively shooting at Chinese and killing Chinese plus destroying Chinese military equipment. Surely after the war is fought, China needs to impose a cost on Japan for all this? It must do its best to ensure it doesn't happen again. Clearly Japan considering involvement, intervention, interference on Chinese internal matters shows us that two atom bombs and it still has leaders that want to take Japan to war of intervention.
The core of this problem is Japan and the US does not allow Taiwan to peacefully reunify with China. Even though 40% of Taiwanese and the original runaway party (KMT) now is neutral or pro reunification with China. Some KMT and Taiwanese civilian and military
leaders are on record claiming they prefer reunification as today's China is basically what a lot of them desired for the ROC. They aren't brainwashed.
