Nothing more awesome than India and US fighting. US should stop tech transfer to India next.

The question is will China be fooled by India once more? I hope not. I hope Chinese companies will not invest in India again and get burned in the process.
It will further derail India's military R&D. They're unlikely to get more F404 or F414 which will derail Tejas Mk1A and Mk2, never mind AMCA and TEDBF. Also makes KF-21 sale to India less likely.

Dassault might try to talk them into joining FCAS, or failing that maybe work together with Safran on further developing an improved M88 engine.

Why should China cares about the Panama Canal? Majority of the traffics involve the US.
Honestly, if the current Venezuela-US situation resulted in one of their cruise missiles destroying the canal, it would be a huge geo-strategic blow to the US. (although I think Venezuelan missiles don't have the range, considering the distance, however they have Iranian drones now.) Any Chinese shipping loss of use of the canal would be an acceptable sacrifice. With all the American fantasies of destroying Three Gorges, the karmic irony would be hilarious as well.

Colonel Douglas Macgregor said that the Russians are on the doorstep in Odessa, already eliminated various military installations in the area, at the very beginning of the video.

Then the Galloway guy talked about some apparently leaked documents stating 10:28 in the video about Ukrainian causalities.

Prof Mearsheimer back on the Lt Colonel Daniel Davis show.

Talks about Modi and Trump their relationship at the beginning.

Cracks a joke at the 3:25 mark about that Prof Vara fellow.

I think people should remember, or at least know, that Prof Mearsheimer used to be US Army. But he is still such a nice pleasant man.

Saw this video of him debating with Eric Li of all people, in a European forum, and Eric Li laughing and giggling, while Prof Mearsheimer was very much engaged when talking to Mr. Li, point, then counterpoint, he had a small grin or maybe smile. However, the rest of the panel all Europeans sat stone faced.

Reading the the comments in that Youtube thread, people hated that Eric Li was giggling, but there was Prof Mearsheimer who was enjoying the conversation. Then I realized why Eric Li was attack in the Youtube comments. This was only a conversation between the US and China, and Mr. Li and Prof Mearsheimer were enjoying themselves.

The Europeans were not enjoying themselves, but could not attack the Americans, like they were the 7 dwarfs.

Anyways, I thought this video was informative. Youtube provides better information that the lying Liberal media and Faux News. Get some insider on Youtube, and they will tell you the story.

Putin's presidential entourage has arrived in Beijing today
Wonder if any deal with Russia will get signed? I've been following recently that a lot of Ukrainian drones hit Russian oil refineries, I wonder if China may provide Russia with many laser systems to shut down the drones near important civilian areas if it would count as lethal military aid.

Uh, they were already well known. How much mineral development was there in the 20+ years the US was there? It wasn't that US companies weren't aware of the mineral deposits or didn't want to exploit them. Hell, conspiracy theorists back in the day claimed that was why the US invaded in the first place!

Best thing to do with Afghanistan is just to leave it well alone and hope it leaves you alone too. A lesson the UK, USSR and USA all learned at great cost, and which China can take advantage of for free.

No, the best thing to do is keep investing. Yes, some/many will fail due to terrible business practices. However, it's important to note that it's all a vicious cycle. Lack of development leads to lack of education which leads to poor business practices which leads to lack of development. If you're truly interested in developing Afghanistan, and it's not out of altruism that China would like to do so, then you need to keep investing. Some will inevitably succeed, and successful businesses and businessmen will flourish, while the "robbers" will languish, and over time you'll have development, education, and better business practices. Get discouraged now and the only ones who would've benefitted would've been the "robbers", and it'll perpetuate the vicious cycle.

The west never tried to "develop" Africa, the west wanted a relationship of dependency and to start their preaching crap. Again, Africa is a continent, not a country, please indicate the country your contractor friend worked in, this trying to lump Africans into one is making you sound like those racist westerners.

That's correct. Some may have been interested, but quit when met with obstacles. It takes decades of continuous investment for development to occur, but most who've "invested" in Africa are really just collaborators of "robbers". Together they rob the continent of its wealth and perpetuate the "robber" class of merchants and politicians.

De-industrialization and Germany in the 21st century. Name a more iconic combo. I still can't believe some days that they allowed KUKA to be sold to China. Zero strategic vision. Zero. I think on some level they are jealous of the "prestige" of becoming a financialized economy after closely dealing with the UK and US over the last few decades and want to emulate them, while complete forgetting their own actual strengths.

Well, it's either Hirohito or Shinzo Abe, your pick Japan
Oh,if only I had the computer skills to depict Hirohito eating a {"buckshot breakfast" like "Shinzo Abe"(still love watching the video of him getting his "just desserts").Seems the Japanese are getting a more then a little hostile at China recently-at America's urging no doubt at this tumultuous time.
