It's okay Trump already fired that BLS Commissioner lady, therefore there is no inflation.

I don't think the idea of Partition remembrance should be mocked. From my admittedly limited understanding, the wide-scale death, violence, and suffering associated with the event were indeed horrific, and affected "both sides" in roughly equal measure, i.e., both those who left/were driven out of Pakistan to India and those who left/were driven out of India to Pakistan. The fact that Pakistan does not have a Partition remembrance day does not mean those things did not happen.
They have only started doing this now under BJP/Modi and they don't acknowledge the horrors on both sides. In fact, the entire purpose of this exercise on their end is to de-legitimize the creation of Pakistan.

Yes, before I posted the above reply, I did a quick search and saw that, as you have noted, Partition Horrors Remembrance Day debuted under the BJP/Modi government. But I went ahead with my reply anyway, because you seemed to be scoffing at Indian remembrance of Partition generally, as opposed to this particular memorial day. For what it's worth (and I know it's not much), I think it would be entirely appropriate for Pakistan to have its own day to remember victims of Partition. After all, as I stated/pontificated above, the killings and other atrocities flowed along a two-way street.

China, please stop winning so much!
If you've read publications from both the US and China you will notice something—American labs take their compute resources for granted and create extremely inefficient algorithms. You can get the same error bounds while decreasing Monte Carlo method sample sizes by an order of magnitude if you model the probability distributions correctly instead of throwing Chebyshev's Inequality at everything. Such an optimization is not asymptotically less complex but still results in significant resource savings at production. They can probably get more out of their grid if they did some more clever math instead of brute forcing everything.

1. Maybe, that is the word, that is the answer to that question posed. But that argument was made over 30 years ago. By then, the term Confucian capitalism was used occasionally to describe the Japanese and the four tigers, being Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and strongman nation of Singapore.

One other point, as what we are living through today, is about those four tigers.

Just go Google this term, East Asian economic miracle.

This is what you get

The East Asian economic miracle refers to the rapid and sustained economic growth experienced by several East Asian countries, particularly from the 1960s to the 1990s. These economies, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, achieved unprecedented levels of development, transforming from relatively poor nations to global economic powers.

My point is, two fold.

What China accomplished, now seems like it has far exceeded what the four tigers did, and what Japan did, in terms of speed and scale. This is shock and awe.

No one in the lying Liberal media ever describes China's ascent as a miracle, a term that was in wide use to describe the Asian Tigers back then, and yet as of today, we can confidently say China is exceeding them, because that is just the plain truth. No miracles here now, nothing to see here, no more!

I forget now.

This should be that reef that was close to Philippines, meaning close to US military installations, that the PRC at that time, a few years ago, would not reclaim, to not inflame more tensions.

Guess we can now kiss that the f goodbye.

Like, bu-bye Labubu!

:oops::rolleyes::D
There is no indication that China has decided to do it. its just Zhao provoking a response like he always does.

This is not new. Even in Joe Biden days, the US doesn't count food and energy toward core inflation. That's why they can go on TV and say "inflation is 2.7%" with a straight face when living expenses are double of what they were 2 years ago.
