And Sankei Shinbun is one of the leading newspaper agencies of Japan. Shows just how many Japanese are actually in on this tirade against the entirety of China and the Chinese people.

Perhaps the only way left for China is to completely neuter Japan's ability to threaten China ever again, through the complete and utmost dismemberment of the present political, economic and societal structures of Japan from the top down, alongside permanent and throughout subjugation of Japan and the Japanese through the absolute military, political, economic and societal aspects across all of Japan by China and the Chinese people.

This is why I keep saying Beijing’s aims have long since moved way beyond Taiwan.

The PLAN doesn’t need any of its large amphibious assault ships for Taiwan.

Taiwan will the the ultimate litmus test on whether modern Japan is materially different from Imperialist Japan, whether they have truly changed or are just waiting for an opportunity to try and reenact their past evils of imperialism.

If the Japanese join the Americans to militarily attack China over Taiwan, then the war won’t end once the PLA has liberated Taiwan. Instead China will team up with Russia (Russian involvements only need to be limited to allowing the PLA to use its territory for operations against Japan) and basically do their own equivalent of Operation Downfall from WWII. Afterwards, China needs to purge Japanese society and leadership as thoroughly and ruthlessly as the allies did in Germany to detoxify the Japanese of their fascist roots. Then, with a few decades of PLA occupation, maybe they can finally turn the pages and rejoin the rest of humanity as reformed model citizens like post WWII Germans.

This post is exagerated. But yes Russia blocked imports of Chinese trucks to save market share for KAMAZ and Ural. A lot of this is because the market is saturated at a time interest rates are still high and demand is low. Russian truck makers can easily cover existing demand by themselves.

You can expect truck imports to be allowed back eventually but there will be some kind of barrier to safeguard local truck makers.

As for GLONASS that person has no idea what they are talking about. All vehicles in Russia with no exception must have the ERA-GLONASS system. This is not a navigation aid. It is a system where in an emergency it communicates with Russian emergency services requesting them to assist you. Russia is pretty sparse, you might be hundreds of km from someone else when your car breaks down or worse. So this is mandatory.

I never understood the consoomer craze on these toys. But now you have people literally committing crimes to get them.

Chinese soft power truly is a drug.

I remember seeing a video about the Beanie Baby Investment craze lol. However, there is probably a lot of “investors”, scalpers, thieves, and people maintaining the value illusion. At least until the fantasy trend pops.

Chinese state media says Nvidia H20 chips not safe for China

Nvidia’s chips pose security concerns for China, a social media account affiliated with China’s state media said on Sunday, after Beijing raised concerns over backdoor access in those chips.

The H20 chips are also not technologically advanced or environmentally friendly, the account, Yuyuan Tantian, which is affiliated with state broadcaster CCTV, said in an article published on WeChat.

“When a type of chip is neither environmentally friendly, nor advanced, nor safe, as consumers, we certainly have the option not to buy it,” the article concluded.

Nvidia did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

H20 artificial intelligence chips were developed by Nvidia for the Chinese market after the U.S. imposed export restrictions on advanced AI chips in late 2023. The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump banned their sales in April amid escalating trade tensions with China, but reversed the ban in July.

China’s cyberspace watchdog said on July 31 that it had summoned Nvidia to a meeting, asking the U.S. chipmaker to explain whether its H20 chips had any backdoor security risks — a hidden method of bypassing normal authentication or security controls.
Nvidia later said its products had no “backdoors” that would allow remote access or control.

In its article, Yuyuan Tantian said Nvidia chips could achieve functions including “remote shutdown” through a hardware “backdoor.”
Yuyuan Tantian’s comment followed criticism against Nvidia by People’s Daily, another Chinese state media outlet.

In a commentary earlier this month, People’s Daily said Nvidia must produce “convincing security proofs” to eliminate Chinese users’ worries over security risks in its chips and regain market trust.
